If you have a business, you are probably dealing with people a lot of the time both inside and outside your business. And people, well they're complex.
Brad Shorkend is the CEO of Still Human (Workplace Advisory), obsessed with helping businesses, leaders, and everyone who wakes up in the morning to engage the world of work to be better at the complicated job of being human and creating the conditions for success.
Since 2005 Brad Shorkend has worked with thousands of people around the world on how to ‘better human’ at work, and in turn how to build and lead organisations that are awesome places for people to work in, to innovate meaningfully, and to achieve sustainable success in a world that has gone digital crazy.
Brad Shorkend is a relentless entrepreneur having founded and led over 20 businesses across numerous industry sectors… architecture, telecommunications, fashion, start-up acceleration, music retail, beauty, technology, consulting, FMCG, to name just a few… and is faculty at numerous globally recognised business schools. This enables him to bring both a business and an academic lens to his clients’ challenges and engage them with an appropriate blend of the two.
Brad Shorkend is the published author of ‘We Are Still Human (and work shouldn’t suck!)” – 2018, and is a featured thought leader in “The Book Every Business Owner Must Read” – 2020. He is also a frequent contributor to numerous print and online publications and radio shows.
Brad has delivered keynote talks on 5 continents, and speaks specifically about Leadership, Innovation, Organisational Culture, Employee Experience and Strategy.
Brad Shorkend is a firm believer that every leader should have a thinking partner that is external to their business, with no bias or agenda other than bringing perspective and being a safe place for the leaders to express themselves and soundboard… a wingman.

Brad is a great example of an excellent coach, his career and all his achievements in life make him the perfect mentor for aspiring businessmen and leaders.
He has a good business sense and keen insight into the recipe for success. I would recommend him to anyone looking to develop themselves. Working with Brad has been a positive life changing experience for me and one that I would not be able to learn from any course or business degree.
I experienced Brad's facilitation skills as well, which was more than memorable in a room of 80 plus people. He took the time to research and understand his audience and deliver a message that resonated with them and their environment. His concepts are fresh and exciting and challenge the conventional way of thinking and force you to question conservative business practice.
Brad is a dynamic coach and has been an inspiration to me and the changes brought about through his coaching sessions, which I have implemented in my approach to business and management, have a had a positive impact on my business unit as a whole as well as my career and aspirations.
I have a certain amount of scepticism with regards to coaching, but in the right circumstances and if the match is right, then it is a very valuable tool, which this time round has certainly proven to be the case for me. Brad has helped me to stay sane… so this has helped to keep my performance at the highest level and prevented me from otherwise slipping.
Quirk contracted Brad as a facilitator on our Future Giants leadership programme to guide our managers through a subject that they were fairly intimidated by – Strategy & Innovation.
Brad was extremely effective in helping them to break it down using useful and manageable models, and by the time the workshop was completed they were all charged up to get going on their strategies with their teams.
We have found Brad to be highly dependable and professional, but even more importantly his teaching approach and tools are contemporary and visually exceptional. He held our attention for an entire day, not an easy task with young minds in the advertising space.
Brad, you delivered a powerful and concise presentation which certainly had all our delegates hanging on your every word. Your passion for change and alternative approaches was extremely impactful. Many of our delegates are so deeply steeped in their work that they don’t see the wood for the trees. Thanks for taking them into a space where they could step back and gain new perspective.
I am confident that our business will benefit hugely from that value you have provided. I will enthusiastically recommend your work to my colleagues and friends, many of whom are captains of industry.
In a world gone digital crazy, we are still human beings craving, creating, and responding positively to high quality human experiences. At Still Human we passionately help companies and their people to think and behave in ways that create awesome human experience, and the conditions for constant relevance and sustainable success.

There’s not much that is quite as powerful or as meaningful as intentional conversation filled with exploration and an open mind. So whether virtually or in a room together we’d love to hear your thoughts, questions, challenges and ideas. We’d love to learn more about you and share a bit more about us. And maybe, if we click, we’ll journey down a‘better humaning’ road together.
